Welcome Wanders to the World of L.K. Tanner
March 25th, 2026
Welcome, Wanderers.
My name is L.K. Tanner, and however you found your way here—through social media, a conversation, or by chance—I’m glad you did.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. Over the last 20+ years, that grew into what is now The Mark of Sin universe, alongside poetry and other forms of storytelling that continue to evolve with me.
At the center of everything I create is one idea: perception is fragile. My work is shaped through a psychological lens, exploring how experience, belief, and environment influence the way we interpret reality. I’m drawn to the space where science, religion, culture, and personal experience intersect—not to prove one over the other, but to show that multiple perspectives can exist at the same time.
This space is meant to be a place of thought, creativity, and reprieve. A place where questions are allowed, where different viewpoints can exist without conflict, and where people can step outside of their own perspective for a moment. Whether you’re here to read, to think, or simply to disconnect for a while, that space is open to you.
While The Mark of Sin is a central project, it’s not the only form this work takes. I also write poetry, children’s and educational stories, and create pieces that extend beyond writing into visual and physical forms. Many of these projects are in their final stages and will be shared more broadly soon.
If you take anything from being here, let it be this: curiosity matters, perspective shifts, and there’s always more to explore.
Questions, thoughts, and conversation are always welcome here.
All my sharp edges,
L.K. Tanner
